There’s really nothing better than having a child who loves to eat his fruit, which makes this month pretty easy for me when it comes to the recipe challenge. As long as I’m getting the fruits Thaddeus likes, he’s eating everything I’m making, so far. Although he wasn’t a fan of the Chocolate Drizzled Strawberry & Banana Sticks I made earlier this week, not sure why. This time I decided to allow him to pick what he wanted on his Fruity Dessert Kabob and he not only ate one, but two of them! His are the two with blueberries.
- Brownies bites either freshly made or store-bought
- Assorted fresh fruits; cut into bite size pieces just cut the top off the strawberries unless using large ones
- Wooden skewers
I preferred freshly baked brownies, so I purchased a brownie mix and baked it as directed. You can use store-bought brownies if you want. cut the brownie into 1" squares.
Place items on a skewer in any order, allow the kids to decide what fruits they want and in what order. You can make them in any way you want and none of them have to be the same.
That’s it, nothing more to it.
