I like to try doing adventurous things, I do. I’ve found that I do them a little more now that we’re living in Hawai’i and because we’re Living to the Fullest and well, life is an adventure. However, I do have a small fear of heights. Well, not necessarily a fear of heights but more of a fear of having my feet, not on the ground. So when I decided to go parasailing with Thaddeus, I was a bit nervous.
Parasailing with UFO Parasail
Our experience started off very adventurous because we didn’t even do any research on local parasailing companies, UFO Parasail.
I think the best part, aside from being with my son was that he decided on how far out we would go on the line. He wanted to go out all the way! We booked our adventure and waited for our time slot. We were on the boat with two other groups, and I think they were all as nervous as I was, however, Thaddeus was as excited as could be.
We went out first and although I was pretty nervous the entire time I had a great time. We were out, sailing through the air for about 15 minutes looking out over the Kona area. It was AMAZING, and I can’t wait to do it again.
On the way back into the boat, you have the option to get dipped in the water. It is supposed to be your feet only. However, there is always a chance of you getting a little wetter than expected. Thankfully, I didn’t have my phone in my pocket. Otherwise, it would have been soaked! Don’t worry, they explain this to you and even ask if you want to do this. Plus, they have a place to store your belongings on the boat while you are up in the air.
With UFO Parasail, you have the option to have them take pictures and even video of your adventure for you. Although this would have been great, I opted to try out my new GoPro and get a few shots while we were up there.
Wow..Looks like great fun!Have a blessed day!
It was a lot of fun, cannot wait to do it again!
