It has only been a few days since we moved from Michigan to Hawaii, but it already feels like we’ve been here for longer. We’re still trying to find a place to live, so we’re staying in a hotel, but we’ve checked out a few areas on the Big Island that we’d like to look for a place to live.

Although we should be concentrating more on finding a place to live, we’ve had a little fun by checking out some of the tourist attractions and soaking up the sun!  We’ve checked out some lava fields, Papakolea Beach (where the sand is green), South Point Cliff Dive scene, and the local Kailua-Kona area.

We like the Kailua-Kona area and would love to stay in this area, but we also like the Ocean View area.  I guess only time will tell as to where we’ll end up.

Some of the pictures didn’t turn out very well, not sure what is up with my camera.  Thankfully I can go back to these places again and hopefully get some better pictures.
