This is a super easy recipe and I found that you can add additional cheese to your liking. Recipe is adapted from Iowa Girl Eats. I added additional cheese to our recipe, whole milk, and no salt.
- 1 cup Orzo
- 1 cup chopped broccoli florets I used frozen broccoli that I thawed before adding it to the Orzo - use more or less to your liking
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 tablespoons shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/2 cup milk
In a medium sauce pan bring a pot of water to a boil.
Add Orzo and cook for 3-4 minutes.
Add broccoli and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
Drain Orzo & broccoli and return to pan.
Add milk, butter, and cheeses and mix.
