The other day I received a wonderful package containing a few goodies to help me along with my training and the Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure®.
I received a plush Energizer Bunny®, Energizer® Energi To Go® Portable Charger, Flip HD Camera, 4-pack of Energizer® Ultimate Lithium batteries, makeup case, and a Keep Going® bandanna, tote bag, and name tag.
I love getting packages in the mail, especially when they are going to help me do some training and help represent who I am! Of curse, Thaddeus has already tried to claim the Energizer Bunny® the moment I opened the box and he saw it. I told him on the way home from picking it up that the box was for me. He didn’t believe me and wanted to know who’s name was on it. When I told him that it had my name on it, he got all bummed. Then I opened it and he saw the Energizer Bunny® on top and said, “See Mom! I told you the box was for me!” I couldn’t help but laugh, but had to explain to him that it was mine for my training and for doing the walk.
Now, of course after all is done, he’ll be getting the Energizer Bunny®, but I need him for my training and at camp for the 3-Day for the Cure® to keep on or near my tent, which I’m glad because I know there are going to be a lot of pink tents out there and this will definitely help me find my tent!
I will admit, I’ve already used the Energi To Go® Portable Charger and Flip HD Camera this weekend. When we went to Greenfield Village this weekend, I wanted to make sure that my phone didn’t die on us because I was going to be using my Walkmeter app for my iPhone. The charger worked great, however for some reason the app didn’t continue to keep track of our walking. I also took a video of a parade that happens each weekend there in the summer that leads the vintage baseball team to the field (which you can see in the Greenfield Village post) along with a video of Thaddeus and Brandon on the Carousel while I tested the camera out to see how it works.
Disclosure: I received the items mentioned above, free of charge, as part of the Keep Going® Blogger sponsorship. All opinions are that of my own.
