The Anaheim Ducks are going to the finals

The Ducks are the first team to make it to the finals this year. They beat the Vancouver Canucks last night to take the series 4 games to 1. Here’s their stats for this series. The Ducks will be playing the winner of the Red Wings vs Sharks series, which is tied at 2 games a piece.

GM 1: Ducks 5, Canucks 1
GM 2: Canucks 2, Ducks 1 (2OT)
GM 3: Ducks 3, Canucks 2
GM 4: Ducks 3, Canucks 2 (OT)
GM 5: Ducks 2, Canucks 1 (2OT)

The Red Wings vs Sharks play game 5 tomorrow afternoon and the winner will take a 3 games to 2 games lead. The Wings have been struggling with scoring this series and they have been without a couple key players. Holmstrom came back for game 4 to help the Wings tie the series. The key players for the Wings need to get into gear and start scoring if they want to go on to the next round.

The Devils vs Senators will also be playing game 5 tomorrow, but the Senators lead the series 3 games to, so they are looking to finish this series. The games have been pretty close this series, all but one being one goal games. Let’s see if the Devils can get their stuff together and make it a 7 game series.

The final match-up is Sabres vs Rangers. They are in the process of playing game 5 with the series tied at 2 games. They are in OT right now but the game should have been over after the 3d period, unfortunately the refs are not playing fair and the Rangers got screwed and a goal wasn’t counted and then with 07.7 seconds left on the clock the Sabres tied the game. Either way, game 6 will be on Sunday.
