Last night we wrapped up most of the presents and put them under the tree after we put Thaddeus to bed. Well, this morning Thaddeus was very surprised when he woke up. He walked out to the living room and seen all the presents. He comes running into our bedroom and says: Thaddeus: Mommy! Mommy: No response because I knew what he was going to say. Thaddeus: Daddy, Daddy, Santa came, I got presents. Daddy: No, those aren't yours. Thaddeus: Well who's are they? Daddy: someone elses. Thaddeus: Oh. I forgot to post this the other day, well last week some time. Thaddeus & Brandon were doing laundry one day and Thaddeus got to one of his shirts that says "My Dad Rocks" and the conversation went along these lines (not exact because I can't remember it fully). Thaddeus: What does my shirt say? Daddy: My Dad Rocks. Thaddeus: What does that mean (with a weird look on his face)? Daddy: It means I'm cool. Thaddeus: No it doesn't daddy, you are old. Can you believe
That the year is already almost over? I can't believe that it's just a little over a week before Thanksgiving! This year has gone by way to fast :( It's just a huge reminder that Thaddeus will be starting school in less than a year :dontgo Have you started your Christmas shopping yet? I've gotten one thing so far and I'm not sure at all what to get anyone. The year is going by so quickly and I haven't a clue what anyone wants or what anyone is into now. 2-wheel bike
On October 7th, I received a Strider Running Bike to do a review on for my other site, Frugal Plus. The very next day the bike was put together and Thaddeus started riding it. So, on October 22nd, I posted a review on Frugal Plus of a Strider Running Bike, a bike intended to get kids riding a 2-wheeler faster and a much safer way of doing so. The video above is from October 8th. After about 2-1/2 weeks, Thaddeus is riding a 2-wheel bike all by himself! Can you fricken believe that? Check out this video! Thaddeus’ first camping trip
For the 4th of July weekend, we decided we'd taking our first full family camping trip. Full family because the last camping trip we took, Thaddeus stayed with Nanna and PawPaw so we could get some adult time :yup We decided to go camping where I grew up going camping, at Brighton Recreational. We left on Friday around lunch time, stopping at Burger King to eat before hitting the freeway. We arrived at the campgrounds at around 1-1:30 and found where our site was and then went to check in. We went to see Thomas the Train at the Fox Theatre
So, we took Thaddeus to see Thomas the Train yesterday at the Fox Theatre. Let me just say :wow that place is BEAUTIFUL! Thaddeus had a ball and we had fun just watching him :yeahbaby Here are some pictures from the event, you will have to excuse the way some of them look. We weren't allowed to use flashes and with all the movement going on, many pictures cam out very blury. Yeah, I had to use my normal gallery for the pictures. Spelling
Thaddeus is now spelling! Well, he's been spelling STOP for the last few months now but after just a couple day so f going over how to spell THADDEUS he is able to do it without any problem. Now we are working on his last name. Along with spelling Stop and Thaddeus, he is also able to spell mom and dad and knows that his birthday is July 17th.
