For the most part I have own the domain shawnann.com since 2000. There was a time that I didn't own it because I just couldn't afford to keep it running and I let it go.  When I started blogging again I purchased shawnann.org because the .com was in limbo for a while, but the moment it became available again I snatched it right up! If you remember, last month I went to my first ever conference, which just happened to be a Michigan conference!  We had lots of sponsors for the event, some of them even gave us samples of their products.  One of them was Crunch Granola! I've wanted to write this post for a very long time now. The only thing that has really kept be from actually writing it is that I don't really like to talk politics on my blog because I know not everyone has the same views and not everyone agrees with everything.  It doesn't matter to me if you are a Democrat, Republican, Independent, or whatever. I was sitting outside Thaddeus' school the other day and this car drove past me, pulled into the driveway (next to that red truck in the background) to turn around, and as he was pulling up to park (he normally parks right across the street from me) there was this noise. It sounded kind of like something hard dragging.  Almost like dragging something heavy across the cement.
