Starting all over

We were let down big time from the Realtor yesterday.  We went and looked at a house on Monday, and we called to find out if the house was FHA approved so that we could get a bid in on the house.  All bids had to be in by today at 10AM, at least that’s what we were originally told.  The Realtor we have been dealing with said she would look into first thing in the morning (yesterday) and would let us know, but if she didn’t hear anything that we could come down and fill out the paperwork for the bid and hope that it would go FHA.

11:30 AM comes around yesterday, and still no word from the Realtor.  So I give her a call and leave her a message asking for an update.  She finally decided to call us at 5:37PM yesterday.  UMMM, hello???   A little late to call us and tell us that they would accept FHA bids! You really expect us to call into work the next morning saying we can’t come in because we have to fill out bid paperwork on a house we want to put a bid on?

So, we are going to continue to look for a house and hope that we can find one that suits us, but we will be using a different realtor.  I am not going to help give someone commission of anykind when they can’t even give me a call to update me on a house that it is obvious we want to purchase! All she had to do is call and say, “I haven’t heard anything yet, but why don’t you come down and we can do the paperwork and we’ll get the bid in just in case they will accept an FHA offer.”  That’s all I expect, you to do your job and to ensure that we have every opportunity to get ANY house we feel we want.  You cost us the opportunity to get a house we want and you won’t be making money off us!
