Registered for graduation

I think :toofunny I submitted the application the other day, but sent the registrar a message regarding participating in the graduation ceremony in Clinton Township rather than Flint since it is much closer. They tell you in the application that if you want to participate in the ceremony of a campus other than the one you took most of your classes from to contact the Registrar’s office of the campus you attend to let them know so they can send the correct paperwork to you to submit to the campus you want to attend the ceremony at.

So, I submitted the application and emailed the registrar’s office and I get an email back saying that I’m supposed to specify that I want to attend a different ceremony than the campus I attend on the application :funky So, I emailed them back posting the message that is on the application and asking if I need to redo my application and where to enter the request at or if something else can be done. Now, I’m just waiting for a response.

I have just started my last computer class, actually just finishing the first week today, and have registered for my final three classes, which I will be taking one in the summer and the final two in the fall. So I should be graduating in the Fall of this year :woohoo My next step is to decide what degree I want next, if any. I really have two options. I can go for the Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting or Business Administration – Accelerated Program. There really isn’t much of a difference as far as the amount of classes I’ll have to take, I think it would work out to one extra term for the Accounting degree, but I’m still leaning towards that one since it’s the field I want. Plus, it’ll look better to have the degree in Accounting if I plan to do taxes :blink

Well, whatever you chose I hope that it gets you what you want and makes you very happy. If you were to do taxes and join a firm then you would make good money and that would be good for your family. I have a friend whose family owns a tax place here and he works as a tax person in tax season and then owns his own lawn service the rest of the year and he makes more money being a tax person then owning his lawn service. I think if you love doing taxes then go for it. No one can take your degree away from you. I have a double degree and even though I am a stay at home mom at the moment I know when I go back to work I have the double major I can use. Employers look at you differently then if you only have a high school degree. I am done with school for I am not fond of it, but if you want to get a bachelor’s I say go for it. Good luck!
