As you know, I’m a mother who works outside of the home. Managing your life without some type of planner is just something you don’t do when you are a busy person, let alone a mother. Now that Thaddeus is in school, we have to keep track of when he has half days, full days off, special breaks, and parent teacher conferences. I’ve also got to keep track of my prenatal doctor appointments, any other doctor appointments the family may have, and whatever else may come along. This doesn’t include birthdays for family and friends! Yeah, we’ve got a lot to keep track of!
About My Life Matters
MY LIFE MATTERS TM, a “next generation” planner for women, was created with YOU in mind. While this planner provides a practical way to keep all the parts of your life running smoothly and efficiently, that is only the beginning.

Unique to MY LIFE MATTERS TM is a flexible set of tools to help you seamlessly master the important areas of your life. Learn more.

My Take On It
As I mentioned before, we need planners in our home. In fact, I not only use the calendar on my iMac, but I also sync it with my iPhone and iPad along with a little calendar hanging on my home office wall and now the My Life Matters Personal Planner for Women I received for review! Yeah, I have to write everything down in several places to ensure that I don’t miss anything.
I love that the My Life Matters planner has a full monthly calendar to have all your appointments and other dates for that month all in one page and that you have pages for notes to jot down. However, I think there are some areas that are a little excessive. I don’t keep track of my personal budget in a planner that I would be carrying around with me everywhere, I don’t use a weekly calendar, and I don’t keep track of the foods I eat.
Now, I’m not saying these things are bad, they are just things I have no need to use. If I worked in the corporate world where I went to meetings and other types of appointments many times a day and every week, then I could see the need for the weekly calendar part because with the monthly calendar you don’t have much room each day to write in several appointments and times. I like the idea of the personal budget and expenses pages, however, I just don’t take the time to use something like that. The health and well-being area is a great concept for those who like to keep track of the foods they eat and their workouts, and I probably should be using this feature since I’m pregnant, but I just don’t feel the need.
I think it could be a good idea to possibly make two versions of the personal planner, one for women like me who only need a couple of the features and then the full version. For those of us who don’t use all the features currently in the planner could probably have a full year planner in one rather than two binders. But that’s just me.
Overall I like the concept of the planner and think it’s a great item for those with super busy lives that keep track of everything and even those that keep track of most things.
