You read that right. Shawn Ann’s World is going to be moving. But don’t worry, it’s just a small little change that isn’t really going to effect too much. Instead of being located at http://shawnann.com we will be located at http://shawnann.com. Notice that the only difference is the .COM.
I will basically be moving back to my original home. Back before we had Thaddeus, I had my own website (non blog platform, but it was still my blog) and it was the domain shawnann.org. However, for finfancial reasons, I had to let it go and when we were able to get my site back up and running I wasn’t able to get the .COM so I opted for .ORG.
Anyway, once I get it all set up for the move, you really won’t even know that it’s happened because if you go to http://shawnann.com it will forward you to http://shawnann.com. The only thing I have to figure out is if my feed will still work. In other words, those of you who receive my little newsletter type thing with my posts may have to resign up. I’m hoping you won’t have to go through that process, but I don’t know if the feed will transfer. We’ll have to wait until it happens to figure that one out. I hope you all understand. Either way, I’m sure you won’t mind too much since it’ll always give you an extra entry (if not the main entry) to a giveaway 
For the companies I am working with, have worked with, and hope to work with. The only way that this should effect you is that my email will change. Like the domain, the only part that will change will be the .ORG to .COM, however I will keep my .ORG email and have it forward to the .COM for about a month or so to ensure I don’t miss anything and I’ll have it automatically send you a reminder about the new email address. All advertising will remain in place for the paid upon time. I haven’t decided about my paypal email addy yet, I may keep it for those currently using it, but all new advertising will be asked to use the new email.
This move is going to happen within the next few days, unless something comes up. I will let you know when it’s done so you can let me know if you see any problems!
