Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and you’ve probably already noticed all the Valentine’s Day products throughout the stores as you go shopping. Instead of getting your normal cards you get for your kids, you can go through Minted and get classroom Valentine’s Day cards that are more personalized.
About Minted
Minted is a global community of independent graphic designers and an online store that prints and sells the best of their designs in the form of paper goods.
We believe that great design lives and thrives in the hands of indie designers that people may not have access to through traditional retailers. Our goal is to use technology to allow our community to discover the work of great designers from all over the world. And at the same time, create a place where designers can get exposure and build their careers.
Cost of cards is based on the number of cards you choose and you can choose from several different shipping methods (standard, Next Day, Two-Day, etc.).

My Take On It
Minted has 53 different designs for their classroom Valentine’s Day cards, all of which can be customized with either a picture of your child, special message, and their name. Here are just a couple of their cute designs!
I had a hard time picking out a card for Thaddeus, so I had him chose his own. This is the card he chose along with his personalization to the card.
We are expecting our cards any day now and I can’t wait for them to come in. The ordering process is very easy, just select your card, customize it the way you want it to look (based on what you are allowed to customize) and submit. You will receive a proof of your card before the order is printed and once you approve the proof your cards are printed and shipped to you.
ETA: You know, they had the size of the cards right there on the main page for the classroom Valentine’s Day cards yet I didn’t really pay attention to that. I was expecting the cards to be a little bigger, more like the size of maybe two of them together but they are actually the perfect size for handing out in class. Actual size of the card, for visual, is exactly the size of the cards in the first two images. I can hold Thaddeus’ card up to my computer screen and his card fits right over the cards in those two images.
I was NOT expecting the quality of the card to be so good. The card stock is awesome, nice and thick and the print quality is just like it is in the proof (shown above)!
Thaddeus was excited when he found out the box that arrived was actually for him and not me.
He wanted to take them to school the next day!
