We were lucky once again to get the opportunity to review yet another game from JumpStart for the Wii console. Get Moving Family Fitness is the latest game by JumpStart, and like their other games, is geared towards children. Only this time the entire family can get in on the fun. Narrated, with control demonstrations by Brooke Burke, it quickly became Thaddeus’ favorite game. Like other JumpStart games, the controls are fairly easy and intuitive, the music and graphics are cartoonish, and you get to design and dress your own player. But unlike the other two games we have from JumpStart, Pet Rescue and Escape from Adventure Island; Get Moving Family Fitness is geared towards developing a child’s body and not just their mind. And you’d be hard pressed to find a kid that doesn’t like jumping up and down and swinging their arms wildly while playing sports games.

Thaddeus loves the boxing, basketball, running, baseball… pretty much everything this game has to offer. I love the fact that Brooke Burke not only shows you how to play each part of the game, but she also “tells” you. So no more having to read and demonstrate what to do with the Wii controller to Thaddeus, he just watches and listens to the on screen instructions and then off he goes, it’s great!

I’m write a longer review, but me and Thaddeus are going to go play some more. Enjoy the little video I took this morning of Thaddeus playing.
