Over this past week we’ve had a few illnesses in the house. First, Thaddeus came home from school super early (Friday, January 25th) and was out most of the following week either from still being sick or because of a snow day. Then on Tuesday (January 29th), I started to get sick and it hit me super hard and super fast! By Wednesday morning I could barely talk and my throat was so swollen that it felt like it was completely closed. I finally went into Urgent Care, because it was just so painful and I couldn’t even eat or drink anything!
Diagnosis: Strep!
While there we had Thaddeus tested too because of the way he was feeling and I knew if I got hit it was probably from him. Positive for him too!

Although it was painful for me to swallow, I knew that I had to drink fluids to stay hydrated. I also knew that honey was good for sore throats, so I decided to try out my new Tetley Tea I received for review!
There really isn’t better than a nice, hot cup of tea with a little honey in it to make you feel better! Even when it’s hard to swallow, it still feels pretty good going down, even if that feeling only lasts for a short time. But hey, I stayed hydrated while I wasn’t able to get much down.
Tetley Tea is helping their fans turn over a new leaf, a tea leaf, with tips from life coaches, live chats with experts, and chances to win Amazon gift cards every day! Although the Amazon gift cards portion has ending this week there is still going to be live chats!
