Summertime is right around the corner and so is the need for great clothing for those warm months. I can’t wait! I’m not a winter person, in fact, I hate the cold! I could live anywhere where there are beaches all over, it’s warm, and if I did I would probably have found out about Fresh Produce clothing a lot sooner! I love the summer top that I found and have already worn it a few times.

Fresh Produce has a lot of different women’s tops that come in all types, sizes, and colors. One thing I will warn you when buying clothes online, and this goes for any place, be sure to check for their size charts because they really do help you purchase the correct size clothing. I’m top heavy and had I picked the size shirt I normally wear I would not have been comfortable in the women’s t-shirt I chose because it would have been too tight around my bust.

I was a little worried about the top when it arrived because the material is very thin and I was afraid that it would be too revealing. I’m happy to say that is not the case and I love the thinness of the shirt because it makes it feel great with the warm weather. I stayed nice and cool!

Oh and Fresh Produce now ships to over 200 countries, so women outside the US can enjoy the colorful styles, too!

Disclosure: Item was received for the purpose of this review. All opinions are that of my own. No other monetary compensation took place.

Thaddeus is a very crafty boy. He’s always drawing, coloring, and creating things. So, when I found out about Kiwi Crate, I knew it was something he would find interesting and be excited to take on a project or two.

And I was right!

It’s about time to start gardens here in Michigan and what better way to get one started than with Kiwi Crate’s Garden Crate? You get everything you need to start a window garden than can be transplanted to your outside garden without any problem. Plus after you start your window garden you can do some crafts and create some flowerpots to plant your own flowers or other plants! The Kiwi Crates come with everything you would need to do two or three different projects, depending on the crate you receive.Kiwi Crate offers subscriptions for $19.95 a month (cancel anytime) or $220 per year with free shipping. You can even order gift subscriptions for 3 or 6 months or a full year. Each month you will receive a different crate!

Kiwi Crate provides families with all the materials and inspiration needed to create, discover, and explore with art, science, crafts, and more – right to their front doors. Every month, a different theme is introduced, like Ocean Exploration, Colors, and Dinosaurs. Parents can spend quality time with kids – without the stress of pre-planning or shopping for materials.

Thaddeus had so much fun creating his window garden!

I even went out and purchased some extra seeds for our window garden and made up our own little bags and increased our garden by four other items! So along with the beans and squash we will have tomatoes, green peppers, spinach, and lettuce.

Final Window Garden

Thaddeus spent a good amount of time designing his flowerpots and he placed one in our living room and one in our bedroom to “brighten up the rooms”.

I can’t wait for the seeds to start spouting so Thaddeus can see exactly how veggies (and other plants for that matter) come about. We’ve had a garden in the past, but it always started from an actual plant or from seeds. Because you can’t really watch the seeds spout when they are outside in the ground, he’s never been able to actually watch them start spouting, but with the window garden he’ll be able to see them start rooting and spouting and then transplant the spouts to an outside garden.

I don’t know about your kids, but Thaddeus LOVES to play with things that make a mess, are sticky, are gooey, and everything in between. What could be better than Nickelodeon’s Gak & Floam for him?

Apparently Nickelodeon Gak & Floam has been around since the 1990′s, who knew? I guess since I was in high school during the early 90′s it wasn’t something I would have been into at that time. I had actually never heard of it, but the hubby knew what Gak was as soon as he seen it. Go figure!

Floam and Gak are back and they have been reformulated to be better than ever!

About Gak

New Nickelodeon Gak is a stretchy, squishy collectible compound. Gak can be squeezed, stretched, bubbled and more – once kids pick up Gak, they won’t want to put it down!

I didn’t play much with the Gak, Thaddeus had some fun with it blowing bubbles into it along with stretching it, squishing it, and even layering it over some of his dinosaurs. You’ll have to watch the video at the end of the post to see what Thaddeus thought of both the Gak and the Floam.

I think that Nickelodeon could rethink the air-tight containers for Gak as I found it very hard to get all of the Gak out of the container without it coming out in several pieces or getting stuck under my nails. It’s also pretty sticky and although it didn’t stain anything, it did stick to Thaddeus’ clothes and body along with the straws we used for blowing the bubbles.

About Floam

New Nickelodeon Floam is an incredible, reusable molding compound. Mold, fold and roll new Nickelodeon Floam into any creation imaginable – the possibilities are endless!

Thaddeus couldn’t wait to start playing with the Floam, he wanted to mold it into a dinosaur, wrap it around his dinosaurs, and create whatever he could come up with. I could tell from the short time he played with it that he was majorly disappointed with it and although he ended up playing with it again and building an alien, I don’t think he’ll use it too much.

Again, I think Nickelodeon needs to rethink the containers. Although it was easier to get the Floam out the the Gak, it was still horrible getting it out of the little bowl and I found it getting under may nails and breaking apart into small pieces. I also wasn’t impressed with the color from the blue getting over everything! I’m glad that we received a mat to use, and as you can see from the pictures the blue ended up all over the mat and Thaddeus’ hands were blue when he was done playing.

It sounded kind of like something hard dragging. Almost like dragging something heavy across the cement.

When I looked up at the car I noticed that the passenger side, front tire was sideways. But the driver’s side was straight!

Everyone knows that I do not post images on my blog unless they have a watermark on them. Now, I know that this won’t keep people from stealing my images because I won’t put the watermark through faces or anything to make it difficult to see the main part of the picture, but I hope that it does discourage people from stealing my pictures.

So far it seems to work.

I’ve used the same program since I started watermarking my images because it not only watermarks multiple images at once, but it will also resize them to the size I want my pictures so I’m not uploading huge files. It was the first program I found that allows you to do this and it’s free, what more could you ask for? Well, I’ve found another program that allows you to do the same and more. It’s called PearlMountain Image Converter. The great thing with this program is you can not only resize and watermark your images, but you can also make corrections to the images, add a border to the images, and crop the images!

The one thing I really like about PearlMountain Image Converter is that each task you can do to your images is in a separate window so you aren’t overwhelmed by a bunch of features in one spot.

PearlMountain Image Converter is really easy to use, just drag and drop your images, enable the tasks you want to use at that time, customize them the way you want, select where to save the converted files, and convert the images. The one bad thing I have found with PearlMountain Image Converter is that when you select to resize the images they don’t actually resize the way I would like. With the other program I use it doesn’t force an image to stick to the exact specific size. What I mean by that is I like to keep my resized images to 640 x 480, with the width to be no more than 640 pixels but the height could adjust based on the image. For instance if the image is portrait than the image will be 640 x 480 but if the image is landscape than the image will be 640 x 856. But when using PearlMountain Image Converter it adjusts the images to fit within those dimensions so a landscape image won’t necessarily be near the 640 x 480 size (see below images for examples).

As you can see the first image is smaller than the other images. Also note that I had the resize for all images set to 640 x 480 and none of the images are resized to that size.

I do love the watermarking part of the program because you can outline your text (like I did in the images in this post) and you can also add a shadow if you want. I didn’t test out using an image for the watermark, mainly because I just use “© Shawn Ann’s World” as my watermark, but I would assume it works the same, just upload the image you want to use as the watermark, place the image where you want, adjust the offset, align the image, and adjust the opacity, and you are done.

My biggest complaint about PearlMountain Image Converter is that it is for Windows only. I am a Mac user and don’t like having to go into Windows unless necessary, but because of the watermark features I may have to force myself to log into Windows every so often to watermark my images.

The cost is about the same as most simple image editing software, $29.90
