FatCow Web Hosting

When I first started Shawn Ann’s World, I signed up using GoDaddy because it was a great deal for hosting for the space you received, plus I recognized the name from the commercials.  I stuck with them for approximately five years before switching to FatCow.  Before switching, I did some searching and asking around and I was referred to two places, FatCow and HostGator.  I chose FatCow because it was a little bit cheaper and because they were a Green company, they are powered 100% by wind energy.  I try to do my part at being Green.

Anyway, since I’ve switch (12/26/09), I will have to say that I am VERY disappointed at the service.  I’ve had my site go down several times (approximately 4 times) and I’ve been having major problems with my email, especially over this past weekend.  Let me tell you, there is nothing more frustrating than posting a review and giveaway and then your site is down for a day or two for no apparent reason.  OK, so there is something that is worse, that would be not being able to send and receive emails because the hosting company is having problems with their email servers.  Needless to say, if you’ve tried to email me and I haven’t responded, this would be why

If FatCow doesn’t get their crap together and together real soon, they are going to find that they have one less account and I will be demanding my money back!  When I miss important emails and when I can’t get back with people, IT COSTS ME!  If you cannot provide me with 100% up-time or get your services fixed within a timely manner then you are NOT doing  your job.  Telling me that, “We are sorry for the inconvenience that this is causing you.” is NOT acceptable.
