I have started exercising again, hopefully this time it’ll last! I’ll be trying to keep a running tally of my exercising and weight loss, although I may not post every single time on here.
Today I weighed in at 151.5lbs :( This is according to Wii Fit Plus, which I will be using for yoga, exercise, and balance and I will also be using the treadmill and whatever else I can get my hands on to help me exercise and reach my goal. My ultimate goal is to be about 120 pounds.
I was on the treadmill today for 61:14 and walked/jogged 2.87 miles. According to the treadmill I lost 116.6 fat calories and 373 regular calories.

Good Luck to you Shawn Ann. Weight loss is such a rough journey, I know I’ve fallen off path a few times but it does get easier once you stick with your routine. The Wii Fit makes it fun too so that’s a bonus.
And thank you for thinking of me this week, it means a lot to have so many people I’ve never “met” care about me.
I have lost in the past 2 years since I had Sean 40.4 pounds and I am struggling each day and I still have 10.5 pounds to go. Here is some good advise….
You should also take your weight and times it by 11( for you are a Woman and 12 for men) and that is how much you need to eat each day to maintain your weight, but if you either do 500 calories in exercise everyday or eat 500 less then you will lose 1 pound give or take water weight a week. You just need in exercise or eating 500 less calories then taken in to your body each day. You should eat 4 to 5 fruits and vegetables and 3-4 ozs. meat. and limit carbs. You should write down each day all of your calories and exercise done then you will know exactly why you lost. If you do more then 500 in exercise and eating less then your daily allotted calories you will lose more then a pound. Not good to lose more then 2 pounds a week for the rest is water weight. This means you are at 151.5 so you need to eat 1666.5 and if you eat 500 less and or do 500 in exercise then you need to have at the end of the day 1166.5 in your records. This is the basic way to lose weight and the most healthy way to lose. This is how I do it and I notice if I eat a lot of salty foods I gain. I eat three meals and 2 snacks to regulate my blood sugar for I am glucose intolerant and I eat small portions at each meal and snack. Then every time you lose you just adjust what you have to eat and times your new current weight by 11 and get the number you need. I eat my allotted and do 400-500 a day. I adjust my intake of calories as to have much exercise I did that day. If 1166.5 is too few calories then eat 1666.5 and do 500 in exercise. You can get books to tell calories and figure out what you eat and look them up. I know calories pretty well and I do things by weight and volume. Don’t count the calories from the read out on machines either for they are not correct. Standard for any machine it is 100 calories burned for 15 minutes for anyone 150 or less pounds and that is you. That is the guideline for the FDA. Well, take my advise or not. This is the easiest way to lose and the way I was taught when I was at the University of Kentucky on a specific program where I lost 80 pounds. I hope it works and you do take my advise for it works. Anyone else who wants this advise can have it for free since this maybe posted here. Good luck Shaw Ann I hope it works for you. I have lost 80 and then gained and now lost so far 40.4 and have 10.5 to go.

Good luck! I know how hard it is to start exercising from WAY too much experience. Good luck at reaching your goals!
I’ve heard Wii Fit is not really all the much help at all. I’ve been meaning to try it, would you reccomend it?
As far as the weight loss goes, I’ve found the regularly blogging about weight loss keeps me responsible to other people. I don’t want to disappoint them and when I’m at 7-eleven thinking about getting that pint of Ben and Jerry’s Americone Dream, I stop more myself more often. It’s just a thought, perhaps a psychologist woudl find that interesting.
