Eggo™ Real Fruit Pizzas are an all-in-one combination of fruit and warm toasted granola on an oven-baked cinnamon and maple-flavored crust. Available in Strawberry Granola and Mixed Berry Granola varieties, Eggo™ Real Fruit Pizzas join other Eggo® favorites like Homestyle, Buttermilk and Blueberry Eggo™ waffles – all part of a great-tasting family of products that consumers have loved for years.
Eggo™ Real Fruit Pizzas are now (June 2010) available in the freezer section of grocery stores.

We are always on the lookout for “quick” breakfasts that are tasty and at least somewhat nutritious for our little boy. He’ll be starting school this fall, and I’ll be going back to work. Up until now I have been able to make him good home cooked meals of eggs, sausage, biscuits, fruit filled pancakes, and pretty much anything else… but that will change. Not wanting to just stick him with a bowl of cereal every morning before carting him off to school, we have slowly been introducing him to microwave and toaster breakfast foods, and the new Real Fruit Pizzas from Eggo were a big hit with him (and me too).
Of course you get the option to make the pizza in a conventional oven or in the microwave, so I decided to try the microwave method just to see how they turned out. I opened the box of a Mixed Berry Granola pizza, placed it on the crisping tray, and in a matter of minutes had a great smelling breakfast for my little boy (and me) to try out. All I can say is YUM! That thing was delicious. I had to stop myself from eating the whole thing. I’m not even a big fan of mixed berries due to my dislike of raspberries, but this thing may have changed my mind on that matter. And Thaddeus loved it too. After slowly taking the first bite, not knowing what to expect from a new food, he immediately showed an entire piece in his mouth after realizing how good it tasted, smearing berry juice all over his face.
We also received a Strawberry Granola flavor, and I’ll be opening that one up for tomorrows breakfast. We all love strawberries in this house, so I might have to fight him in order to get a bite of that pizza. It looks like we’ve found yet another great breakfast food that is tasty and nutritional, unlike the seemingly lard covered pieces of cardboard that is most of the other stuff you find in the freezer.

Those are bigger than I thought they’d be. That is wonderful! I love that they use real fruit, that makes me have a great option for those days when breakfast is really just on the go. Great review!
Seriously? How much better can breakfast get! Food like this is why breakfast is my favorite meal of the day!
Yummy! I agree with Annie, they are much bigger than I thought! My boys love Eggo so I’ll pick these up the next time I see them at the store.
