Doors {Part 2}

Pin It

You may remember me talking about how when we purchased our home, that it was an older home that appears to still have all the original doors on it.

We were very lucky that when we purchased our home, it was from someone who really knew how to take care of their property.  Although there are many things that need to be fixed and updated throughout the entire home, we do not have to worry about purchasing any new interior doors because they are in excellent shape!  All doors to the bedrooms, closets, and bathroom look like they are still new.  However, when we had the house inspected (prior to purchasing it) our inspector mentioned that we should get all new exterior doors because they are not the normal exterior doors of today.  For the time being, these doors are working just fine for us, but I know in the future, we’ll have to get new ones.

The house also has pretty new windows to it, so that’ll save us a lot of money from having to purchase any replacement windows in the near future.  This is great, because I am not looking forward to buying new windows, especially right now.
