Country Bob’s All Purpose Sauce Review & Giveaway CLOSED

Shawn Ann was contacted by Al at Country Bob’s about reviewing one of their sauces. She asked me if I’d be interested in doing the review, either because she knows how much I like spicing up my food with sauces, or because she was making fun of me for being “country” myself. Either way, I’m glad she did.
I cracked open the first bottle less than a week ago, and it’s almost empty!

As soon as you open the bottle you can smell that it is something different than your standard bottle of sauce. It has a bold smell, a bit spicy, but not smokey. But it’s the taste that catches you off guard. At first it is sweet, then the boldness really comes through. After that the spiciness takes over. It actually sneaks up on you and can take you by surprise.

So far I have had it on broiled steak, baked chicken breast, chicken tenders, scrambled eggs, and shredded chicken breast… yeah, I eat a lot of meat. It has replaced BBQ sauce in my chicken wraps, it adds so much more flavor. A can of chicken breast, 2 tablespoons of Country Bob’s, and a handful of  black beans tossed in – wrap that in a piece of flat bread and you have a decently healthy lunch. And did I mention that the sauce is all-natural? No HFCS or other ingredients that you need a degree in chemistry to pronounce.

There is a database of recipes on their website that can keep you busy, personally I’m looking forward to some of the bean side dishes they have there. And as of this writing, you can also get a free bottle of sauce by visiting their site as well.
