Changing degree major

After taking some time to think about my schooling, I have decided to downgrade my degree as they call it.  I am in the process of switching my degree (if they allow me to) from the Bachelor of Business Administration Accounting to Associate of Business Degree Accounting/Computer Information Systems.  This is the original degree I was trying for when I was living in Florida back in 1997/98 and I was almost done with it down there.  This will allow me to receive a degree a lot sooner, yes it’ll only be an associates degree, but it’ll be a degree.  I have only 10 classes to complete to receive the associates, which means I could have the degree in about a year.  I can then start for the bachelor degree again and continue my education that way.  This way, I do not have to wait roughly 2 1/2 years to get a degree and it’ll give me two degree’s when I’m finished.

I could have just gone for the plane Accounting degree and finished in roughly 2-3 terms and received an associates, but I figured for the extra 4 classes I can have the duel degree instead.

So, for now I just wait and see what they say.  I don’t see a reason why they wouldn’t allow me to change, but they say it can take about a week to go through the evaluation and make their decision.  So I wait
