Tires shouldn’t do that

IMG_0478

I was sitting outside Thaddeus' school the other day and this car drove past me, pulled into the driveway (next to that red truck in the background) to turn around, and as he was pulling up to park (he normally parks right across the street from me) there was this noise. It sounded kind of like something hard dragging.  Almost like dragging something heavy across the cement. When I looked up at the car I noticed that the passenger side, front tire was sideways.  But the driver's side was straight! That's not supposed to happen! {Keep on Reading}

Changes are coming

Shawn Ann's World

I have done a lot of thinking lately about the outcome of Shawn Ann's World and where it has gone and where I'd really like it to go. It was just a few years ago that I made some major changes to include product reviews and giveaways.  Well, there is going to be a lot more changes coming. Why the changes? You may be asking why there are changes coming and what exactly they will be.  Well, the changes are because Shawn Ann's World isn't doing what I was hoping it would be doing. I thought that by adding the product reviews and giveaways that it would bring more readership.  Well, it has, {Keep on Reading}

Don’t change for someone else

NoChange

I've been thinking about this post for about two weeks or so now and although I might sound very negative or rude, this post is meant to help you as a blogger.  Do NOT change for anyone else, unless it's something YOU want! Where's this coming from? Well, I am part of a private group on Facebook for bloggers that want to work with companies and the main person of this group has suggested that the bloggers change their style in order to get opportunities.  Apparently they've looked at a bunch bloggers and found that they like the way a couple of them write or have their site and they {Keep on Reading}

Taking a Look at Shawn Ann’s World

Shawn Ann's World

I have done a lot of thinking about the direction I would like Shawn Ann's World to go. I can continue where it is now, however, I feel that there is a lot missing from it.  So, I'd like to get some suggestions and feedback from my readers. So, here's a little poll for you to take that will help me know what you, my readers, would like to see here at Shawn Ann's World.  You can pick as many options as you'd like. No answer is wrong. I'm going to leave this poll stuck to the top of my blog for at least one week.  Please make sure you take the time to answer this little poll so I {Keep on Reading}

Chevy - End of the World (image courtesy of http://msn.foxsports.com)

A lot of people watch the Super Bowl for the ads, I personally prefer the game.  Most years I just don't get the commercials they have going on.  They aren't that good and some of them tend to be really stupid.  This year, however, they had some really good commercials and then there were the bad ones.  So, here are my picks for the best of the best and the worst of the worst.  Do you agree?  What was your one favorite and one hated?
