So here we are almost 11 months after Xavier made his presence and it's time for another comparison. Xavier has met some new milestones and is doing much better! Here are the milestones that have been met before each boy reached 11 months of age. Slept through the night: Thaddeus was 2 months old, Xavier was 9 months old. Held own bottle: Thaddeus was 5 months old, Xavier was 9 months old, but still refuses to do it! Smiled: Thaddeus was less than a month old, Xavier 3 months old. For no reason really. I've just been slacking. I have a couple of reviews I'm getting ready to write-up and some come with a giveaway, so keep an eye out for them! I also have a few items coming in for review that also have giveaways. I do need to get my butt in gear with pitching for reviews. Most of my weekends are full with working, yes, I've gone back to work during the weekend. However, I don't know how much longer that'll be going on with summer coming. Nothing new to report on Xavier, I just wanted to post this picture of him that I took at the hospital this morning. It was a short visit because with him in the PICU they don't like other kids there so me and Thaddeus only stayed about 90 minutes. You can definitely tell that Xavier is feeling better because he's been more alert today and eating pretty good. He was even smiling and "talking" to Thaddeus this morning when we were there! {Keep on Reading}
We thought that we were in the clear for any hospital visits for Xavier his year, but we're just not that lucky! At least we made it a full month into the year before we had to deal with this. It all started on January 20th, when he started to have some difficulty breathing and was getting sluggish. I ended up bringing him in to his primary doctor to see if it was anything major or just a little set back. They did an x-ray and everything looked fine to them, so they sent us home with a normal prescription for one of his breathing treatment medications. I'm not done painting yet, not even close to it yet. But we moved the boys to their new rooms this weekend because I wanted to be able to paint in Thaddeus' room while Xavier was sleeping. Here's a few pictures of their new rooms. You'll have to excuse the mess in Thaddeus' room, he's a slob! :toofunny I still have to remove Thaddeus' name from the wall and put Xavier's in its place. But that'll have to wait! Sorry about the colors in Thaddeus' room, for whatever reason the camera was not cooperating with the natural light in the room today. So back in early November, I posted a milestone comparison for Thaddeus and Xavier at that point. I used Xavier's corrected age for age comparison but since he came 2 months early, so remember that Xavier's corrected age is the same age as Thaddeus (real age is 2 months older). Again, I'll go through each milestone hit so far by one or both boys. Slept through the night - Thaddeus was sleeping through the night by the end of September (3 months of age), Xavier still wakes up 1-2 times a night.
