I was recently invited by United Dairy Industry of Michigan (UDIM) for an evening spent cooking at Ann Arbor Cooks for an awesome blogging event. This was one of those special events where only a select few were invited to have an intimate evening learning some new cooking techniques and connecting with other Michigan Bloggers. We knew we were going to be cooking, eating and discovering new recipes and cooking techniques as well as receiving a cute gift as a thank you for participating. Last month I attended my very first blogging conference. It was held here in Michigan, which makes it even better because I not only got to stay within my home state, but I got to meet up with several other Michigan Bloggers! LEGO KidsFest Michigan {Review}

We recently were given the opportunity to attend the LEGO KidsFest here in Michigan, where we got to spend several hours checking out all kinds of neat LEGO statues and much more! Other than pictures I've seen of the event and TV coverage I had no idea what to expect other than to see a lot of LEGOs. When we arrived I was a little overwhelmed. There were so many people, so many different LEGO stands and it was just spectacular! 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe Sleek & Stylish

I was recently invited to attend a special event that unveiled the new 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe! This is the 3rd Generation for the Santa Fe, which has increased its market reach with a two wheelbase options, a bold design, and new powertrains. I love the fact that the Hyundai Santa Fe comes in two wheelbase options, one is a 5 passenger and the other is a 6/7 passenger. Although they are basically the same car, there are some differences to the vehicles. I am attending my very first blogging conference this coming October! Mitten Moms Blogger Retreat is being held from October 5th - 7th, 2012 in Petoskey, MI. This is super awesome for me because it's in Michigan and for Michigan bloggers! Michigan Dairy Farm Tour: Got Milk?

I was recently given the opportunity to take a tour of a local dairy farm here in Michigan, with United Dairy Industry of Michigan and other Michigan (and Ohio) Bloggers! For this tour we were given the privilege of visiting the Goma Dairy Farm in Marlette, MI and meeting with the van den Goor family! When the van den Goor family originally purchased their farm in 1999 it started with 350 cows and has since grown to 2,700 cows that produce 29,000 gallons of milk each day! Day Out with Thomas: Leader of the Track Tour 2011 {Review}

One of our favorite attractions to go to every year in Michigan is Greenfield Village, part of The Henry Ford. Last year we spent several days throughout the early summer there, walking through the Village checking out all the historic buildings and even watching old-time baseball.
