Temporary Theme
I'm using a temporary theme for right now. Not sure if I'll keep using it or not. I figured since I'm going to be walking in the Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure® in support of Breast Cancer, then I'm going to go pink for a while. That is if I can keep this theme working properly for my site. Let me know what you think. Should I stick with this for a couple months or go back to the way the site was and now? ETA: OK, went back to the old theme for the time being. Camping June 2010
Pictures from our Camping trip last week. We camped out at Murry Lake in Brighton, where we went camping last year. We were at the same campground, however at a different lot. This one was NOTHING but sun the entire time. We had a major thunderstorm the first night, spent the night getting dripped on because our tent leaked all over :soapbox but because we were in complete sun at the camp spot, everything was dry within a couple of hours Saturday morning and off to the beach we went. Training Day 8
Today is day 8 for my training. I didn't do nearly as much as I wanted to but it was still a great training day. I was hoping to get 15 miles in today but only got about 5 miles We got a little bit of a late start and by the time we were close to 5 miles it was lunch time and then we took a trip out to Blakes Orchards to pick some fruit and veggies. Now it's just way too hot to be out there walking (almost 90 degrees). Training days 6 & 7
Two days of training to report here. Yesterday I did a short walk, just over a mile. I would have gone longer, but my legs were hurting, I'm thinking shin splints, but I'm not sure. Today was a much better walk. 5.26 miles in one hour and 39 minutes. I used the iPhone app Walkmeter again during my walk to track my route. Here is the route we took today: {Keep on Reading}
